Fullgreen (previously Cauli rice) was started in 2013 and launched its first product in 2015. Since then they have expanded quickly and efficiently with increased store listings in the UK and USA.
What is Fullgreen? They offer a range of healthy rice alternatives with the main seller being cauli rice, with new products such as there breakfast kits, being introduced over the last few years. Fullgreen targets the vegan health food market, while also catering for the gluten-free and low salt market. The brands products are also long shelf life, helping to combat the massive amount of food thrown away every year. They should also be un-effected and continue to do well after covid19.
The company has recently established its self in the American market. With increasing sale numbers after a few teething problems with the new US manufacturing plant. Fullgreen has the compacity to make around 18m pouches a year, meaning they have the ability to increase sales. The company is listed in over 9000 stores in the UK and US.
The company has had multiple raises on Crowdcube, with its most recent one going live on Seedrs recently. With the success of other larger companies such as beyond meat going public this year. Would Fullgreen potentially try and take advantage of the continued vegan trend or go for private sale, only time will tell. This could be the last chance to invest, with the funds from this raise going towards marketing and advertising.
I have participated in multiple rounds, with Fullgreen being the very first company I invested in the private equity sector. I have seen the value of my investments grow over the years and look forwards to see what happens next.
