Great, you have saved up your first £1000. Where to invest? I would suggest splitting it into stocks, crypto, and private equity, click more to find out how and where.
Almost always with investing and especially with stocks you need to try and think long-term. What industries and companies can you see doing well in the next 5 years etc. Stock sare more accessible than ever with commission-free trading apps like Trading212 and Freetrade. When investing try to spread out your investments to level out the risks and research your stock picks properly.

Crypto has done very well this year, but it is always important to remember past performance does not guarantee future performance. That being said it is still a good idea to hold a little bit of crypto, I would recommend the exchanges Coinbase Pro or Crypterium. Alt coins can bring in larger returns but are also seen as a little riskier.

Private equity is another good option, I used both Seedrs and Crowdcube, I will link another post that goes into more detail on using these platforms. Just be aware it could take 3/5 years to get your money back, but I have had one of my investments valued at 25x what I put in.
