Posted on January 7, 2022January 7, 2022 By Philip M 1 Comment on Plum app review

What is plum? The app helps you save money effortlessly with a few key functions, let the app do all the hard work for you.

  1. Plum connects to your bank account and helps you clearly see where you are spending money, by showing upcoming bills and regular spending .
  2. The second thing plum does is it auto saves money for you under its “brain” feature. Here you can let plum automatically “save” money for you by putting money into the app, where you can choose to hold it in a savings account at 0.25% or invest it into a managed fund.

The app is very flexible and you can choose how much you want to save. You have the option to save pretty aggressively and it is great if you have a goal you are saving for, like a deposit for a house.

Costs: The app is free to download and you are able to do a whole bunch of stuff using the free feature, you can do more when you subscribe with costs going up from £1/m, £2.99/m, and £4.99/m. The paywall unlocks a load more features, that help you save extra money and gain a high return on their saving accounts, and an impressive 0.40% to be precise.

TLDR: The app is really easy to use, and it is effortless to save money using plum. With 1.1 million downloads already and great reviews you can see why it is so popular.
