Buying crypto is the easiest it has ever been, with more exchanges than ever. The price of crypto going up rapidly we list our three favorite ones.
Crypto is still in the relatively early stages of growth with only a small amount of the population holding crypto. The last 10 years have really shown the importance of holding a little bit, even just 100 pounds worth. Who knows what the price will be in another 10 years will be, but the best time to buy was then and the second-best time is now.
Coinbase is one of the biggest players in the sector with plans to go public later this year. Signing up is effortless and they offer a good selection of coins. As with all exchanges, the fees can add up, with Coinbase fees going up to 4% and more fees on top of that. Coinbase Pro offers a much more enticing price at around 0.50% per transaction.

Crypterium’s app is really easy to set up and get verified. The company is more than just a crypto exchange, it also enables you to send money globally and they even have a card. They also have a section where you can earn interest on your crypto. Crypterium fees are around 1 to 2% with a large selection of coins to buy.

Gravity by bitstocks is an English company. They have recently raised 1m on Crowdcube and have shown great growth over the last 12 months. Gravity only trades in Bitcoin, BSV, and GBP, which is a little bit limited. The website itself is very secure and easy to use with fees around the 1% mark. Gravity added more coins to the website, including Etherium and more (updated July 2021).

The main crypto is bitcoin, but there are plenty more coins. As with all investing it is really important to spread out your investments. Invest what you are comfortable with crypto has had some massive crashes in the past of up to 40%. Buying after a crash is the best time to buy and plan to hold it long term, think of it as a mini pension crypto pot. I personally keep my crypto over all three exchanges as an extra precaution.
